Rebecca Leder founded Opportunities Knock, a professional and career development training company, in 2021, the same year she published her bestselling career development book, KNOCK: How to Open Doors and Build Career Relationships that Matter, featured by FastCompanyInc. Magazine, NPR, and PBS. After founding a marketing consulting company for small businesses, non-profits, and startups, she led marketing strategy and learning programs at Salesforce for over six years. Opportunities Knock brings “lightbulb moment” workshops and customized training programs to organizations, students, graduates, leaders, and teams to help them cultivate deeper connection and build meaningful careers. Rebecca designed her first curriculum, The Knock Method®: 5 Steps to Building High Quality Career Relationships, rooted in social psychology research on the power of connection and compassion at work. Over 2,500 students and professionals have learned the method through interactive workshops and her book at higher ed institutions and organizations including Amazon, Aon, Brink’s, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Office of Human Resources (CDPHE), Salesforce, and Brandeis, UT Austin McCombs, MIT Sloan, UW-Madison, and CU Boulder universities.
