Michelle is the Executive Vice President of Operations at Nusenda Credit Union, the largest credit union in New Mexico and top 100 in the country. With nearly 5 billion in assets, Nusenda serves more than 265,000 member-owners with 29 locations and over 800 employees. She oversees the credit union’s member experience (branches, investments, contact center), employee experience (human resources, learning and development, and DE&I), marketing, and project management departments. Michelle holds a BBA in Human Resources Management with a minor in Communications, and an MBA in Policy and Planning, both from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management. Michelle’s community involvement includes board positions on the Central New Mexico Community College Foundation, Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance, and the Albuquerque Community Foundation. Michelle has been recognized by Albuquerque Business First as a top 40 Under Forty leader in New Mexico (2015), Woman of Influence (2022), Diverse Leaders (2022), and one of 100 national “Well-being 100” honorees by HEALTHCARE ЯEVOLUTION® (2018).
