Brad is a natural innovator and leader, with a career spanning nearly three decades. Hailing from the ‘school of hard knocks,’ Brad’s high school graduation marked the beginning of his journey into entrepreneurship. His innate talent for problem-solving led him to recognize a lack of planning skills in his early business endeavors. This realization spurred a self-directed learning journey in Project Management, culminating in a professorship at Algonquin College, one of Canada’s leading post-secondary institutions. Brad’s continued growth in the field eventually led to a director role with the Central Bank of Canada, overseeing multiple project teams, and later serving on the board of directors with PMI’s Ottawa chapter for three years as its youngest President.

Brad’s leadership and management experience extend across various industries, including education technology, clean drinking water, artificial intelligence, entertainment, and more. His unique ability to develop businesses focused on solving large-scale problems has been a defining feature of his career.

In 2000, Brad founded EasyWrapLines, a global paper goods company that disrupted the licensed paper markets. By securing licensing rights with entertainment giants like Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, and 20th Century Fox, EasyWrapLines established retail and distribution partnerships in seven countries.

Brad’s innovation continued with the founding of iPal Interactive Learning in 2009. This e-learning services company revolutionized content conversion into online learning. Brad’s methodology, unveiled at the Canadian Training and Education Conference in Toronto, was an immediate success, leading to significant contracts and accolades, including Small Business of the Year in 2011. iPal was later acquired in a multi-million-dollar deal.

In addition to his entrepreneurial and leadership achievements, Brad is also an accomplished author. He penned his first book, entitled “Keep Moving 4Ward – What it Takes to be an entrepreneur,” which was released in late 2013 in Mumbai India to hundreds of MBA students from BSE. The book encapsulates Brad’s philosophy, insights, and experiences in entrepreneurship, providing readers with a roadmap to success in the business world.

In 2013, Brad’s dedication to education led him to India, where he sought to understand the complexities of education across a diverse and challenging landscape. After eight years working in India, the pandemic unfortunately halted the progress made.

During the pandemic, Brad founded Skills Council of Canada (SCC), which was later awarded a $3.8 million grant by the Ontario Government to develop skills-to-employment solutions for Canadians. SCC collaborates with many Canadian institutions, governments and educators, and more recently executed on an MOU with the National Skills Development Corporation International to support pathways from India to Canada for Skilled Trades professionals.

SCC’s team, enriched with experience in the Ed-tech space, has worked with global brands like Scotia Bank, Nike, Costco, McDonalds, BMW, Toyota, IATA, Central Bank of India, Times of India, NSDC, BSE, Centrum Learning, Hindustan Times, Ottawa University, Amity University, Algonquin College, Adobe, Edx, Udemy, Babble, Rosetta Stone, Skillsoft, and more. These collaborations and experience over the last 12 years, led to the realization that solving the United Nations’ SDG4 would require the building of a single Skills-to-Employment Collaborative Support Ecosystem (CSE). This ecosystem, which has been developed by SCC, offers access to thousands of skills development resources including courses, assessments, tutors, all delivered through a state-of-the-art skills management system, reshaping the future of education at a global scale.

Brad’s influence extends beyond business, as an avid speaker who has engaged with global employers, universities, high schools, governments, and education conferences. His insights have been featured in prominent publications such as Forbes, Entrepreneur, Education Review and more, and he has met with many global leaders, including the Prime Minister of India, Prime Minister of Canada,  President of Maldives, President of Mongolia, Deputry Prime Minister of Singapore, First Lady of Iceland, and influential figures like Sir Richard Branson, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, and the Holy Dalai Lama.

Brad also founded Iceland Blue and Arctic Freshwater in 2022, a collaboration focused on providing access to the world’s best quality water for First Nations across Canada and global solutions. This initiative embodies Brad’s passion for making a difference in the lives of others, offering sustainable water solutions for Indigenous Peoples.

Brad’s vision, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence continue to inspire and drive global change. His entrepreneurial spirit, global influence, and genuine interest in building relationships to create change and success across countries solidify his status as a multifaceted and influential figure in various industries.
