As Vice President with Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc., Tracey partners with companies in the Houston and Louisiana markets to evaluate and implement responsible human capital solutions during mergers/acquisitions and restructuring. She works with organizational leaders to provide customized planning and support to ease the transition of exiting employees and increase productivity for the remaining employees. Additionally, she empowers exiting employees to find better jobs that lead to more successful careers.
More than 15 years of resource management and brief intervention therapy in the mental health field led to the natural progression of Tracey transitioning to the corporate world. In addition to serving as a transition coach for individuals receiving Challenger services, she builds strong relationships and connections within the community as a trusted advisor. Tracey believes the path to success is achieved through consistency to purpose, determination, and commitment to excellence.
Tracey’s volunteer interests are fueled by her core values surrounding integrity, supporting diversity & inclusion, and empowerment through authentic, purpose-driven interactions. Activities include the Chair of Pink Petro’s Global Community Council, Dress for Success Houston’s Corporate Guild, & Leadership Houston Alumni. Tracey also serves on the Advisory Boards for Houston’s Chief HR Executive Network & the Houston Talent Acquisition Leadership Forum as well as the Board of Directors for the National Business Development Association.
Tracey earned a B.A. in Psychology and Communications from the University of North Texas, Dallas/Ft. Worth.
