Nahum grew up in Houston and Austin Texas. He was recruited to run track by the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. After undergrad, he moved to Colorado where he earned his Masters Degree in Counseling. He has since worked in several secondary and post-secondary settings. He has held leadership positions as the Director of Student Outreach and Recruitment at The Community College of Denver as well as Director of High School Upward Bound at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Nahum has been a strong advocate for ensuring all students have the resources, tools, and mentoring in order to succeed in their lives as high school and college students. Nahum is passionate about removing barriers for students so that they can see their goals and aspirations become a reality.
Nahum is responsible for creating a meaningful trajectory of a classroom and experiential learning for high school students interested in pursuing a career in teaching.
