Max Vecchiarino, Ph. D., is a Superintendent of Education with the Dufferin-Peel CDSB. He has held a number of roles as a supervisory officer, including Assistant Superintendent of Special Education and Support Services, Superintendent of Schools, Superintendent of Program and is currently serving as Superintendent of Policy, Strategy and Global Learning, which includes responsibility for the Equity portfolio. Max’s publications as well as his professional and research interests focus on the concept of teacher professionalism, particularly in the context of faith-based education, and honor the tensions between personal leadership capacity, student formation and overall school and district improvement, with a view to the common good.
