Leah is an ambitious, London-based lawyer employed by a Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund. She was formerly Deputy General Counsel at a boutique multi-strategy hedge fund, and prior to that worked in the M&A teams at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Leah has been involved in diversity, mentoring and training initiatives for over ten years including the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, Business Action in the Community and the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship. She has personally benefited from groups such as the Women in Law Empowerment Forum, and the Forum Network (an initiative of the Legatum Institute Foundation), and been greatly encouraged by the work of WCAN.
Leah is passionate about encouraging people, fitness, theatre, and spending time with her dog. She holds three passports, volunteered on Titus Trust holidays for 12 years and is a semi-professional violinist. In her remaining free time, she is penning a non-fiction book on sanctification. She is humbled to collaborate with GlobalMindED and excited to attend her first conference in June!
