Born and raised in Colorado, Javon Brame grew up in Northeast Denver (Park Hill) where his parents stressed leadership and the responsibility to give back to the community.  He is a passionate advocate for social justice and is a change agent who enjoys working with individuals, groups, and organizations on strategies to improve outcomes for marginalized and minoritized communities.  He has served in various positions and levels of institutions of higher education since 2006. Javon currently serves as the Dean of Students at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Castle Rock, and Parker, Colorado.  In this role, Javon leads student success programs for all students. This includes oversight of student conduct, behavioral intervention, student life & activities, disability services, veteran’s services, and the fitness center.  Additionally, Javon leads the Inclusive Excellence Council at the college which spearheads equity driven Initiatives College wide.  As a dynamic, innovative, and thought provoking leader he hopes to leave a mark on this world that will inspire others to seek their purpose and become great.
