Andrea Reeve is a retired TRIO Director; current faculty in Colorado State University (CSU) Student Affairs Master’s Program and Coordinator of the CSU-COE College Access and Success Programs Graduate Certificate. She has served as faculty for the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) on multiple professional development seminars, including COE Grant Proposal Writing Workshops and has participated in numerous TRIO association leadership positions. Andrea has been dedicated to improving educational access and opportunity for underserved students throughout her professional career, from 1968-2013, and in semi-retirement, beginning with national volunteer service in Teacher Corps in Kentucky in 1969, and middle school and high school teacher and librarian in remote areas of Alaska. Her TRIO work experience includes University of Wyoming Upward Bound-Talent Search Coordinator and Director Academic Enrichment Center, COE National TRIO Clearinghouse Director, and Director of TRIO Student Support Services at CSU. Andrea is a recipient of several service recognitions: COE Walter O’ Mason, ASPIRE Art Quinn Memorial award, the College in Colorado Cynthia Gayles College Access Service award, and the Friend of WESTOP award for volunteer service to the Pacific Island TRIO Programs. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley, an MA in Education from Western Kentucky University, and ABD in Adult and Higher Education, University of Wyoming.
