Stacey is the Head of Programmes at the Tomorrow Trust, a non-profit organisation based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Founded in 2005, the organisations mandate is to provide education to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds starting in Primary School and continuing through high school into the Tertiary space. Specifically, the Trust’s model is aimed at building the academic, social and emotional prowess of our students, through creating a supportive “family” or community environment for our students.
As a Counselling Psychologist with an MSc in Developmental Psychopathology and an MA in Community-based Counselling Psychology, Stacey has worked in the higher education space for 7 years first at the University of Johannesburg, and then at the Tomorrow Trust. With a passion for the development of children and youth, Stacey’s work at the Tomorrow Trust has focused on empowering and upskilling learners making the transition from school to university and then again into the work space. She works closely with corporate companies, institutions and various organisations to design and facilitate programmes that prepare students from all angles in preparing for the workplace. As a result of her work, Stacey has presented at a number of local conferences over the past year.
