Shaunti Phillips currently serves as an Academic Counselor at Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) located in Gardner, Massachusetts. Shaunti holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Fitchburg State University.
Shaunti is passionate about providing equitable opportunities for students and has many years of experience working in education with first-generation and underprivileged students. In her current role with MWCC’s National Workforce Diversity Pipeline grant/Project Healthcare Program, the main objective is to increase the number of underrepresented and disadvantaged health care providers by creating a high school to college to career pipeline. Previously, Shaunti advised students throughout various programs, departments and divisions at MWCC. Prior to joining MWCC, Shaunti worked as a mentoring specialist where she recruited and trained mentors for a local non-profit organization, LUK, Incorporated.
