Madison Hays was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. She attended Pepperdine University in California, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Math Education and minor in Spanish. She then went on to receive her Master’s degree from CU Boulder in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity. After graduating from Pepperdine, Madison worked as a high school math teacher in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for 2 years.¬†During the pandemic, Madison spent a year teaching online. Wanting to find more avenues to increase equity within education, Madison began working for GlobalMindED. She helped support the Strong Summer Start Program and now primarily serves as the daily newsletter editor.¬†She is currently living in Madrid, Spain, where she is teaching English and editing newsletters for GlobalMindED.
