Kim LeClaire is part of the TeachUNITED team where we serve educators to transform teaching and learning with highly effective professional learning and a dedicated coach.
As Director of US Education Programming, she provides support in decision making and planning specific to teaching, learning and organizational change. TU programming and coaching support Blended and Personalized Learning best practices across all K12 content. Kim has served school districts throughout the US as an education strategist. She collaborated with district leaders on high level systemic organizational initiatives: Blended Learning, STEM, and teaching & learning in a successful 1:1 implementation. She relies on her experiences as a former Director of Educational Technology, where she led a team of Educational Technology facilitators. She and her team provided inspiring professional development services to teachers and principals. As a district leader she collaborated closely with Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment as well as with the Professional Learning departments. Strong partnerships between the learning departments and Information Technology ensured learning is supported by digital tools. She successfully wrote, received and managed several federal Education Technology Information Learning grants.
In 2016, Kim was awarded the ISTE Making IT Happen recognition which identifies educators and leaders who demonstrate extraordinary commitment, leadership, courage and persistence in improving digital learning opportunities for students.
