Jo Lynne is the Chair of Boardbound by Women’s Leadership Foundation whose mission is to open more board seats for women in Colorado and beyond. The organization inspires leaders to champion and pursue greater board diversity; equips women to skillfully step into board service; and connects board-ready talent to organizations eager to achieve extraordinary results.
Jo Lynne has executive experience as an officer of a Fortune 100 company, general management profit and loss experience and marketing expertise. She has helped market leaders and competitive upstarts across several continents achieve marked turnarounds in 12 to 18 months. She also chaired the Board of a Home Health company she helped start, grow and successfully sold in 2011.
Jo Lynne is a founding member and officer of the Board of the Bells Education Foundation. From 2010-17, she was on the Board of Directors of Population Connection where she was Vice Chair from 2014-17. Population Connection is the national grassroots population organization that advocates action to stabilize world population at a level that can be sustained by Earth’s resources.
She is a currently a member of and was the Chairperson of Beyond our Borders, a group-advised fund of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado. Beyond Our Borders is a group of educated, international philanthropists who advance women’s and girls’ issues in the developing world.
Jo Lynne was an officer of US WEST (now Century Link) in 1998-2000. During her years at US WEST, she was a responsible, effective and balanced voice for diversity, serving several terms as President of U S WEST Women.
Jo Lynne has an MBA from University of Colorado at Denver with an emphasis in Marketing and a B.A. degree from Texas Wesleyan University with an emphasis in English and Math.
She lives in Denver, Colorado and grew up on her family’s ranch in Texas that was homesteaded over 175 years ago.
