As a parent of an adult-child with disabilities, Eileen Forlenza has effectively represented the family perspective in healthcare policy discussions at the federal and state level. Eileen represented the family perspective during her tenure at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and is currently embedding the patient perspective in her role at Colorado Access as a member of the Practice Support Team. Driven by her passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Eileen founded the Colorado Family Leadership Training Institute, equipping over 2,000 families statewide to increase their civic engagement leading to cross systems policy and program improvement.
