Dana A. Williams is Professor of African American Literature and Dean of the Graduate School at Howard University. She earned her BA from Grambling State University and her MA and Ph.D from Howard. She has taught and held post docs at Louisiana State University, Northwestern University, and Duke University. She currently serves as PI for the NSF grant that places minority PhD students as TAs at community colleges to help inspire community college students to earn advanced degrees in STEM fields.
