Marley Steele-Inama is the Director of Community Engagement at Denver Zoo. In her 25 years at the Zoo, she has worked in various roles, including managing school and teacher programs, and serving as Director of Community Research and Evaluation. She currently leads the team focused on Denver Zoo’s engagement with community-based organizations, at community events, and engaging youth in career programming and wildlife conservation education. She is a member of the Zoo’s DEAI Steering Committee, Indigenous Relations Working Group, and is part of a team reducing implicit bias and advancing equitable recruitment and hiring practices at the organization.
