Kimberlee Sia is currently the President & CEO of Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation. In this role, Kimberlee leads the organization in the strategic implementation of out-of-school time opportunities, including academic, emotional wellness, and college & career development, for youth in grades 3-12, behavioral health therapy for clients ages four through adult, and family and community resource support and engagement opportunities. With more than 25 years of experience working in education and youth development, Kimberlee has found holistic support for children and families and collaborative relationships with the community are the foundation for academic success. Prior to joining Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation, Kimberlee was the Chief Executive Officer of KIPP Colorado Schools, growing the organization from three to six schools serving 2,500 students in Denver. Kimberlee began her career as a teacher working in New Jersey and California before transitioning to founding school principal, Director of Professional Development, Regional Vice President, and Chief Academic Officer roles with Lighthouse Academies. In addition to leading Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation, Kimberlee currently serves on the Colorado League of Charter Schools Board as the Board Chair, University Prep Board as the Board Chair, Southmoor Elementary Collaborative School Committee as the Secretary, and Parent Representative on the Girls Athletic Leadership School (GALS) School Accountability Committee. Kimberlee is an alumna of the Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce Leadership Denver Class of 2021. She also completed the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Leadership Program and is an American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Leadership Network Fellow. Kimberlee received her B.A. in German and History from Northwestern University and her M.A. in Educational Leadership and Organizations from University of California, Santa Barbara. When Kimberlee is not engaging in her work and volunteer commitments, she loves spending time snowboarding, hiking, cooking, reading, doing yoga, and relaxing with her husband, Andrew, and children, Avery and Adeline.
