Geeta Verma is the founder of LivedX – a student success platform that accredits students lived and learned experiences into college credits focused on transferable skills. This enables youth to succeed in educational and workforce opportunities. As an academic, her research interests focus on (in) equity issues in science education, and she creates equitable, imaginative, and innovative STEM learning environments. Professor Verma serves as the co-Editor in Chief for the Journal of Science Teacher Education, flagship journal for the Association of Science Teacher Education and serves on the editorial board of multiple academic journals. Geeta’s work has been supported by National Science Foundation (NSF) and other funding agencies.
