Anyx Jahnice Burd is a senior attending Dillard University majoring in Public Health. Anyx has resided in New Orleans for 7 years but she is originally from Los Angeles, CA. She works at Longue Vue House & Gardens in children’s programming for a year. Her goal is to be a veterinarian and loves to act, shop, and read . She has been out of the country twice. Once in Morocco for a women’s Empowerment Initiative during her teenage years and recently attended Terra Madre in Italy to discuss food politics.
