Adeeb Khan is a social impact leader and corporate responsibility executive with a proven track record for advancing equity and opportunity throughout his career. He is the chief brand & impact officer for Delta Dental of Colorado (DDCO) the state’s leading dental benefits company. He is also the executive director of the Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation (DDCOF), one of the state’s largest corporate foundations. This dual role, serving both organizations, furthers the mission of the company through its brand, marketing, communications, corporate responsibility, sustainability, inclusivity, diversity and philanthropy. Prior to serving at Delta Dental, Adeeb was the senior director of corporate social responsibility at TIAA. Adeeb was part of the newly established corporate responsibility team that launched TIAA’s community engagement initiative: TIAA Serves. Adeeb led TIAA’s corporate responsibility strategy in markets across the west. Prior to TIAA, He served as senior director of volunteer engagement at Mile High United Way where he launched and expanded the Colorado Reading Corps. The Colorado Reading Corps is now one of the largest AmeriCorps programs in the state of Colorado. Prior to that he served as regional director of health & safety and community services at the Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross. At the American Red Cross he launched Save a Life Denver, a public access to defibrillation (PAD) program in partnership with 911, Denver Health, 9News and Phillips Healthcare. The Save a Life Denver initiative placed over 1,500 AEDs and trained tens of thousands of individuals in life saving CPR/AED training across the Denver metro area. Adeeb holds an MBA with honors and a concentration in corporate responsibility from the University of Denver. He also holds a BA in Communications from the University of Southern California. He is a graduate and class speaker for the Leadership Denver class of 2017. He has been recognized as a Downtown Champion by the Downtown Denver Partnership, a Chamber Champion by the Denver Metro Chamber, one of Denver’s 40 under 40 by the Denver Business Journal, a top 25 under 40 professional by ColoradoBiz Magazine, the Community Change-maker of the Year by Colorado Youth for a Change, and as a 9NEWS Leader of the Year Finalist. Adeeb serves numerous roles in the community and has been recognized as a leader in business, nonprofit and public sectors. He played important roles during the state’s response to the COVID pandemic and the establishment of the Governor’s COVID Relief Fund. Adeeb has also served as a leader in the development of universal preschool in Colorado, set to launch in 2023. In 2020, Adeeb was appointed by Governor Jared Polis to serve on the Early Childhood Leadership Commission for the state of Colorado. He is currently the chair of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation board and serves on the board of directors for the Denver Metro Chamber. He is on the advisory board for the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He sits on the board of directors for Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC), he is the co-chair of the CEO Forum for Philanthropy Colorado and co-chair of Adeeb Khan, MBA the executive steering committee for the development of the 5280 Trail. He and his wife Heidi are the parents of three children and are both originally from Wyoming.
